SUSPENDED SCAFFOLD HAZARD AWARENESS & OPERATOR SAFETY TRAINING
We offer one of North America’s most informative and interactive Suspended Scaffold (Swing Stage) Certification Courses.
Students will be immersed in up to date Swing Stage Regulations and Requirements as well as receive hands on training with stage assembly and hoist/motor operation.
We like to keep the class involved throughout the day, so we have designed this course to mix in hands on training as the days goes on. Once we cover some topics in the classroom, we will head out to the shop and actually put what we have just taught into real life practice.
At the end of the day, students will write a 55 Question, Multiple Choice Exam. A score of 80% or better is required to receive a Certification for the training from the SAIA (SCAFFOLD & ACCESS INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION), that is valid for 3 years from the date of the exam.
TRAINING FAQ
We usually do the course at our offices located in Sherwood Park…however…we have traveled all over North America to do site specific training.
The course takes a full day. Students are usually done between 7-8 hrs, depending on how well they understand the material and how well they write the exam.
(We also break for a 30-40min lunch and if the course is at our office, there is a Pizza Lunch provided)
The cost is $250.00 + tax per person in the course.
We offer/book the course whenever we reach a capacity of 8 participants or more. As mentioned above, we also offer the course on-site if that is a more convenient option for the client.
If the course is at our offices, you will need to wear your work clothes and steel toed boots. Also…it’s a good idea to bring a pair of work gloves for the hands-on portion. If we are having the course on another site, then we will follow all of their requirements for PPE.
Simply fill out the form below and submit your request. We will contact you with further details on when and where the next course will take place.
